The Master Plan

The Metropolitian Board of Parks and Recreation has entered into an exciting era! Mayor Bill Purcell's Master Plan for Parks and Greenways recommends improvements and investments totaling $262 million over the next ten years. The plan will guide Nashville's Park system into exciting new directions for the next century. This year's funding of $35 million to improve and add new parks and greenways was the largest single appropriation in the history of Metro's Parks Department. Want to know more?
