The Gills of Antioch Win the 24th Annual Holiday Lights Competition!

Brandon and Megan Gill had previously entered Metro’s annual Ann Chapman Holiday Lights Competition, but 2011 turned out to be their lucky year. Their home at 3513 Pinwheel Drive in Antioch is this year’s County Wide Winner. Mayor Karl Dean delivered the good news and congratulated the family live during NewsChannel 5’s 6:00 p.m. newscast on Friday, December 16.

The Gills are one of five regional finalists in this year’s contest, and the only entry from Metro Council District 33 in Antioch.

Twenty-two district winners were also selected from a total of 37 entries received.

The contest is open to all Davidson County residents and sponsored by Mayor Dean, Metro Beautification & Environment, Metro Public Works, NewsChannel 5 and Nashville Electric Service.
