PAVEMENT REPAIRS COMPLETED ON JEFFERSON STREET
Public Works crews have finished repairing base failures on sections of Jefferson Street, and final paving work is scheduled to occur in late Spring or early Summer.
Workers removed nearly 100-year-old trolley tracks embedded in sections of the street between 26th and 28th Avenues, and from Dr DB Todd Jr Blvd to 16th Avenue North.
The work is part of a series of improvements planned by Metro on Jefferson Street. Final paving will be scheduled once the base and binder layers have cured and settled.
