BEAUTIFICATION & ENVIRONMENT, PUBLIC WORKS COLLECT OVER 3,000 SIGNS FROM ROADSIDES IN METRO
Public Works and Metro Beautification and Environment sponsored “Sign-Off Day” Celebrations Saturday, Sept. 22, at all three Metro Recycle Convenience Centers.
Volunteers rounded up campaign yard signs, flyers and other kinds of roadside advertising and brought them to a Metro center to be recycled.
The annual events are held to remind and encourage Metro residents to properly dispose of roadside signs so they will not eventually become ugly litter strewn along our roadsides and public right of ways.
