OLD HICKORY BLVD BRIDGE PROJECT TO BEGIN ON OCT. 22ND
Portable message signs and neighborhood flyers will start appearing this week to alert drivers of bridge work planned on Old Hickory Boulevard between Barnes Road and Pettus Road in Antioch.
Construction to replace concrete wingwalls on three corners of the bridge is scheduled to begin on October 22, and will have traffic reduced to one lane. The project is expected to last approximately one month.
Temporary traffic signals will be installed to guide drivers through the work zone, one direction at a time. To avoid delays on Old Hickory Boulevard, drivers can use Pettus Road, Culbertson Road and Barnes Road as alternate routes.
