Parking Information

Visitors and all-day parkers can conveniently locate one of over 16,000 parking spaces in over eighty parking lots and garages. These off-street facilities stretch from the Bicentennial Mall on the north to Franklin Street and the Gateway Boulevard on the south, and along the Cumberland River and East Nashville to the revitalized Music Row and Interstate 40 on the west.

Currently, Metro owns and operates two public parking facilities: The Municipal Auditorium Parking Garage at 417 4th Avenue North; and the Church Street Plaza Garage (Downtown Library) at 151 6th Avenue North. In 2006, downtown's newest public parking facility will debut with the opening of the Public Square Garage, which is part of the new Metro Courthouse complex.

Depending on location, the rates of downtown parking facilities vary from $2.50 to $7 for all-day parking and $5 for most event parking after 5 p.m. Some locations immediately adjacent to the arena and the entertainment district cost more.
