Neely's Bend Road Intersection Improvements
This project is designed to make safety improvements along Neely's Bend Road in Madison.  It consists of widening four (4) intersections: Forest Park Road, Randy Road, Larkin Springs Road and the combined Idlewild Ave/Madison Blvd.  In general, turn lanes and sidewalks will be added at each intersection, and three of the four locations (Idlewild/Madison, Randy Road and Larkin Springs) will receive traffic signals. Construction will be conducted in two separate phases. 
Current Status - Phase One (Randy Rd and Larkin Springs intersections) new signals installed and activated. Work at Idlewild Ave/Madison Blvd and Forest Park Road (Phase Two) began in April 2007.
Project Timetable - Phase One complete. Phase Two is estimated to be completed by Spring 2008.

East Trinity Lane Improvements
new center turn lane with shared-use bikeways incorporated.  Curb and gutter, along with sidewalks, will also be constructed. The roadway improvements will include relocating utilities and modifying existing storm drainage. 
Current Status - Contract awarded to Sessions Paving Co for approximately $2.5 million. Work began in July 2007.
Project Timetable - Estimated completion date is Spring 2008.
