Snow Route List

WHAT TO KNOW WHEN YOU SEE SNOW!

Priority Route List and Interactive Locator Map

Public Works is responsible for over 2,200 miles of roadways in Davidson County. Of those, the department has 730 miles of roadways listed as snow removal priorities.

Each street or roadway on our “Snow Removal List” has been classified as priority “A” or priority “B.”

Priority A is the first priority and will be cleared to a reasonable degree before starting operations on Priority B.

Once these routes are cleared satisfactorily, customer requests for snow removal will be handled on a complaint basis. Each request will be handled or responded to in the order in which it was received. (Request snow/ice removal online)

There shall be no deviation from priority lists without approval of the Director of Public Works or the assistant Director of Streets and Roads.
