Road Closings

TEMPORARY CLOSINGS (February 22 - March 6, 2012)

NOTE: Lane closures (one in each direction) and lane shifts on 8th Avenue South at Lafayette Street are in effect, for construction of the Korean Veterans Blvd extension. Stay tuned to this page or visit the KVB project website for updated traffic alerts as construction progresses.

  • 12th Ave S, Halcyon Ave to Kirkwood Ave -- closed through Feb. 24, for water line installation
  • Omohundro Place, Lebanon Pike to Freightliner Drive -- closed and traffic detoured until March 2, water line installation
  • Saint Cloud Alley, Union St to Church St -- closed on Mondays through March 5, concrete pours
  • 1st Ave N between Church St and Broadway -- sidewalk and one traffic lane periodically closed for bank repairs @ Ft Nashboro
  • Ryman Alley, 4th Ave N side -- closed for infrastructure project
  • The following streets are closed for construction of Korean Veterans Blvd:
    • Shirley Street between 7th and 8th Ave
    • Franklin Street from 4th to 5th Ave
    • 5th Ave from Peabody to Demonbreun
    • 6th Ave from Peabody to Shirley
  • The following streets are closed for construction of Music City Center:
    • Clark Place and Shirley Street, 6th Ave S to 8th Ave S
    • Franklin Street between 5th and 6th Ave S
    • 6th Ave S, Peabody to Demonbreun
    • 7th Ave S, Demonbreun to Lafayette St
    • Demonbreun between 6th and 8th Ave
