Dumpster Trash Collection
Service
Weekly trash collection is provided by Metro Nashville Public Works to all apartments, public housing and Metro government buildings within the USD.
Containers
Each apartment, public housing project or government building may have 8 cubic yard dumpsters for trash disposal.
All trash should be bagged and each container. All boxes set out with trash must be flattened.
Collection
Dumpsters are emptied once a week. If an apartment needs more frequent service they may contract with a private service for disposal.
