Household Hazardous Waste
Metro residents can bring Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) and computers/monitors (limit one computer system per household/month) to Nashville's Household Hazardous Waste Facility located at the East Waste and Recycling Facility.
Household hazardous waste (HHW) refers to products containing potentially harmful or toxic chemicals, often used for cleaning and maintenance of our homes.
Nashville operates a household hazardous waste collection facility open 6 days a week available to Nashville and Davidson County residents ONLY. Valid Davidson County identification is necessary to drop items off at the household hazardous waste facility. This facility is located at the East Center off Trinity Lane. To learn more about household hazardous waste and some of the alternatives, please download our HHW brochure.
Hours of operation: Monday ~ Saturday 7:30 AM to 5 PM.
