What is the Nashville Metropolitan Sports Authority?
The Sports Authority of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County was formed January 8, 1996, to serve as a finacing mechanism and landlord for Nashville's two pro-sport venues, the Sommet Center and Adelphia Coliseum. The Sports Authority Act, T.C.A. 67-6-103, gives the Authority the ability to implement a ticket surcharge and collect state and local sales tax generated by ticket, concession and merchandise sales in the two facilities. These revenues are used to pay Metro and the Sports Authority bond obligations on the two facilities. Board Members of the Sports Authority are appointed by the Mayor for terms of four to six years.

equip and enlarge buildings
- operate sports complexes, stadiums, arenas, structures
and facilities for public
- participation and enjoyment of professional and amateur
sports, fitness, health and recreational activities.
- conduct itself to do what is reasonable and necessary
to attract professional sports franchises to Nashville.

How do I get to the Coliseum?
To access available parking downtown, please take these
routes, then follow the signs:
From North of Nashville:
Follow I-65 South to 265 South to I-40 East.
Exit at Charlotte Pike, Church Street, Broadway or Demonbreun.
From South of Nashville:
Follow I-65 North to I-40 West.
Exit at Demonbreun, Broadway, Church Street or Charlotte
Pike.
From East of Nashville:
Follow I-40 West.
Exit at Demonbreun, Broadway, Church Street or Charlotte
Pike.
From West of Nashville:
Follow I-40 East.
Exit at Charlotte Pike, Church Street, Broadway or Demonbreun.

How do I get to the Gaylord Entertainment Center?
The Sommet Center main entrance is located at the corner of Broadway and 5th Avenue.
Coming to Sommet Center from West Tennessee
on I-40
Follow Nashville signs and exit on Broadway (209B). Turn
left on Broadway and the Gaylord Entertainment
Center will be on your right, between 6th and 5th Avenue.
Coming to Sommet Center from East Tennessee
on I-40
Follow I-40, take the Memphis fork, exit on Broadway (209A).
Turn right on Broadway and the Gaylord Entertainment
Center will be on your right, between 6th and 5th Avenue.
Coming to Sommet Center from the North on
I-65
Follow I-65 South to I-40 East Take the Broadway exit (209B).
Turn left on Broadway and Gaylord Entertainment
Center will be on your right between 6th and 5th Avenue.
Coming to Sommet Center from the South
on I-65
Stay North on I-65 to I-40 West towards Memphis, exit on
Broadway (209A). Turn right on Broadway and Gaylord Entertainment

Coming to Sommet Center from the East on
I-24
Follow I-40 West towards Memphis, Exit on Broadway (209A).
Turn right on Broadway and Gaylord Entertainment

on I-24
Follow the 265 Memphis loop, take the 40 East fork following
the Nashville signs. Exit on Broadway (209A), turn left
on Broadway and Sommet Center will be on
your right between 6th and 5th Avenue.
Where should I Park when visiting the
Sommet Center?
Public Parking is located North and South of Broadway in
public lots.
Are the parking lots of these facilities
available for public use?
If you or your organization would like to use the parking
lots of these facilities for special events, please contact
the sports authority for approval.

We start scheduling tours in mid February.

Tours are March - mid July (training camp determines when we stop).
There are planned stadium events that conflict with tour days. All weeks may not be available during the months stated. -
Tours are conducted Tuesday's and Thursday's from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Tours will begin at the Club level East entrance and end in the Titans Pro Shop.

We will except walk up tours on days stated above.

All large groups of 15 or more must have a scheduled reservation. NO EXCEPTIONS!

The cost of the tour is one non-perishable food item to be donated to different out reach programs.

The tours last about an hour and a half. Depending on the group size.

Our tours go from our 7th level to do Q&A about the stadium and field, to the suite level (we go into a suite), to press level (depending on the age and size of the group), to the locker room. Then back up to the main concourse to be given a souvenir.

We will not allow any backpacks. Purses larger than 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper must be left in the car or on the bus. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Cameras are fine as long as they are not in a case.
