PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE
PRIMARY ELECTION,
COUNTY PRIMARY ELECTION AND
BERRY HILL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
FEBRUARY 5, 2008

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Presidential Preference Election, Davidson
County Primary Election and Berry Hill Municipal Election will be held in Davidson
County, Tennessee on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.

OFFICES ON THE PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY ELECTION BALLOT
for which nominees will be selected are: President and candidates for election as delegates
of the 5th and 7th U. S. Congressional Districts to the conventions of the national Democrat
and Republican political parties. T.C.A 2-5-205 and T.C.A 2-13-301 et. seq.

OFFICES ON THE COUNTY PRIMARY ELECTION BALLOT ARE: Davidson
County Assessor of Property, and Davidson County Democratic Executive Committeemen
and Committeewomen.

QUALIFYING DEADLINE FOR COUNTY PRIMARY: The qualifying deadline for
candidates in the County Primary Election to file their nominating petitions is Noon,
Thursday, December 13, 2007.

WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE FOR COUNTY PRIMARY ELECTION: The withdrawal
deadline for candidates in the County Primary Election to withdraw their name from
the ballot is Noon, Thursday, December 20, 2007. All withdrawals must be in
writing and signed by the candidate.

OFFICES ON THE BERRY HILL MUNICIPAL ELECTION BALLOT ARE: One
(1) City Commissioner to serve four (4) year term.

QUALIFYING DEADLINE FOR BERRY HILL: The qualifying deadline for candidates
in the Berry Hill Municipal Election to file their nominating petitions is Noon,
Thursday, November 15, 2007.

WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE FOR BERRY HILL: The withdrawal deadline for
candidates in the Berry Hill Municipal Election to to withdraw their name from the
ballot is 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2007. All withdrawals must be
in writing and signed by the candidate.

THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE in person for the February 5, 2008
Election is Monday, January 7, 2008. The last day for a name change, address
change, or to make any other alteration to the registration record is Thursday,
January 31, 2008. Applicants may register to vote at the Davidson County Election
Commission or by using a Registration by Mail form available at any Post Office
or Public Library branch. Registration by Mail forms MUST be POSTMARKED
no later than Monday, January 7, 2008. These forms may be hand delivered or
mailed to the Davidson County Election Commission. Voters who have registered
by-mail must vote in person during the first election they participate in subsequent
to that by-mail registration.

THE DAVIDSON COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION OFFICE is located at Metro
Office Building, 800 Second Avenue South, First Floor, Nashville, Tennessee. The
office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays (CLOSED DECEMBER 24,
AND 25, 2007) and will be open for registration on the following Saturdays:
