Pursuant to T.C.A. 2-3-109, voters
are advised that the Davidson County Election Commission Office,
800 2nd Avenue South, First Floor, Nashville, Tennessee, is a polling location that is accessible to physically disabled or elderly (65 or older) voters.
Physically disabled or elderly voters assigned to vote at an inaccessible polling location may vote at the Davidson County Election Commission Office on Election Day. Voters may contact the Election Commission Office to determine if their polling location is accessible.
Voters who desire to vote at the Election Commission Office on Election Day must complete an affidavit at the Commission Office stating their designated polling location is inaccessbile. This affidavit must be received by the Election Commission no later than Saturday, April 24, 2010.
Disabled or elderly voters have the right to vote by absentee ballot or during the early voting period pursuant
to the provisions of T.C.A. 2-6-201. If, however, such voter has registered by mail they must, by law, appear in person to vote in the first election subsequent to their by mail registration. If information is needed for absentee or early voting procedures, please contact the Davidson County Election Commission Absentee Division at 615-862-8815 as soon as possible.
