Dear Oak Hill Voter,
Early voting for the June 8, 2010, City of Oak Hill Municipal Election will be held at the Davidson County Election Commission Office (next to the Howard Building) located at 800 2nd AV S, Nashville, Tennessee, and Brentwood Hills Church of Christ, 5120 Franklin
Pike, Nashville, Tennessee. The dates and hours for early voting appear on the reverse side.
The Polling Place on Election Day, June 8, 2010, is the Brentwood Hills Church of Christ, 5120 Franklin Pike, Nashville, Tennessee. The poll will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Name and address changes or other registration record modifications must be made at or received by the Davidson County Election Commission by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2010.
EMERGENCY VOTING: Persons entering a hospital between Wednesday, May 19, 2010, and the morning of June 8, 2010, and unable to vote in person on election day, should call the Office of the Davidson County Election Commission at (615) 862-8815 or (615) 862-8800 for emergency Absentee Voting Registrars to provide ballots and voting assistance. The call must be received at the Commission office no later than 7:00 a.m. on June 8, 2010. (Election Day). See T.C.A. 2-6-401.
An eligible voter may be able to vote absentee by personal appearance at the Commission Office during the period of June 3, 2010 to June 7, 2010, under the following circumstances:
1. Due to the death of a relative of a voter which would result in the voter’s absence from the county on Election Day;
2. If the voter receives a subpoena or services of process requiring the voter’s presence on Election Day.
To vote as stated above, the voter shall show reasonable proof to the Administrator of Elections or his deputy. The above two categories are in addition to those persons or categories of persons otherwise authorized to vote absentee as set forth in T.C.A. 2-6-201.
