Community Enhancement Fund Grants
Notice: Beginning in Fiscal Year 2018, the Finance Department Division of Grants Coordination, will no longer manage this funding.
Therefore there will not be any announcement for Community Enhancement Fund funding to this web site as in past years.
That funding will be allocated to a select number of Metro departments that operate similar programs; because those departments are more knowledgeable about those services and more suitable to administer the programs.
The Finance department is working with the selected departments for a smooth transition. We are providing information on all current and past recipients and applicants. Those departments will provide you more details of the application process and the primary contacts. The Finance department staff will also be available to help direct you to the right persons for answers and provide other assistance when possible.
About the Community Enhancement Fund
Initiated in Fiscal Year 2009, the Community Enhancement Fund Grant program for Nashville non-profit agencies was designed to meet community needs by funding:
- services not currently provided by Metro Nashville Government
- services which enhance those already provided by Metro Nashville Government
The program awarded grants in the four categories: Afterschool Programs, Community Service, Domestic Violence, and Literacy, based on an annual competitive application process.
