Public Property Administration

The Public Property Division processes real estate acquisitions, disposals and leases on behalf of Metro Departments. The division of public property administration was established by the Metro Charter and is further described in the Metro Code of Ordinances.

This division works very closely with other departments within Metro related to purchasing and selling Metro property. The links to the main department pages are listed in the Useful Links section.

Useful Links

Assessor of Property - The Property Assessor's Office maintains an individual Property Record Card for every parcel of property located in Davidson County.

Chancery Court Clerk & Master - Delinquent Property Tax Sale list and Parcel information

Codes Department - The Codes Department is vested with the authority and duty to administer the Metro Building Code as well as the Metro Zoning Code.

Planning Department - Property Mapping

Register of Deeds - The Register of Deeds is a constitutional office established by the Tennessee State Legislature as the custodian of legal documents pertaining to real property.

Trustee - The Office of the Trustee is a Constitutional Office established as a tax collection agency for each county in the State of Tennessee. The Davidson County property and personalty tax information is available to view 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
