What is a Resource Team?

photo of committee discussionThe Resource Teams are made up of local volunteers with expertise in each team's topic; they provide guidance and perspective to Metro planners as they prepare alternatives, or "futures," for how our city and community might grow and develop.

Three of those "futures" were presented to the public at 25 community meetings, online, and in small-group discussions through summer 2014; planners drew on that input as they built a "preferred future" for public review in fall 2014, and finally a draft Plan which was approved by the Planning Commission in June 2015.

"Driving Forces" reports explain the societal and economic factors which affect each topic.
