Each NashvilleNext Speakers' Series event includes a performance or presentation by local artists, in cooperation with the Metro Nashville Arts Commission.

On March 11, the Grammy-nominated ALIAS Chamber Ensemble performed selections from "Three Portraits", a string quartet composed by the group's violist, Chris Farrell. before Dr. Cisneros' comments. ALIAS presents chamber music to diverse groups throughout the city, collaborating with other local arts and education institutions, and benefitting various local nonprofit service organizations.
