Preventive Health Care Centers

Metro Health Department operates three public health care preventive centers to provide a variety of preventive health services to citizens of Davidson County on a sliding fee scale basis. All persons are served regardless of their ability to pay.

Services include immunizations for children and adults, TB skin testing, STD testing (when available), head lice checks, family planning services, pregnancy testing and referral, nutrition services, and food vouchers for expectant mothers and young children.  Appointments are taken only for family planning and WIC.

Patients are required to sign-in by 3:30 p.m. for walk-in services at all three Public Health Centers.

Woodbine Health Center hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm and late hours on Thursday until 7:00pm for all services.
