Security Awareness Newsletters and Tips
In today's society, we rely on technology, such as computers, smart phones and tablets, to stay connected to each other and to information resources. Information is more readily accessible - and more vulnerable.
At the Metropolitan Nashville Government, we firmly believe that information security is everyone's responsibility. We take steps to educate Metro employees to protect the information of Metro and our citizens.
Metro citizens can do their part too. Remember: STOP. THINK. CONNECT.
- STOP - Before you use the Internet, take time to understand the risks and learn how to spot potential problems.
- THINK - Take a moment to be certain the path ahead is clear. Watch for warning signs and consider how your actions online could impact your safety, or your family's.
- CONNECT - Enjoy the Internet with greater confidence, knowing you've taken the right steps to safeguard yourself and your computer.
