Workforce and Place Diversity

The Mayor’s Office works to increase the overall diversity of Metro’s workforce. The Diversity Advisory Committee works specifically on this effort, developing a plan to assist efforts to recruit, hire and retain a workforce that is inclusive and representative of Nashville’s local demographics and that serves as an example for employers of this city.
