Employers are the foundation of this initiative and the key to providing meaningful worksites, engaged supervisors, and quality opportunities for young people.

At this time, Opportunity NOW is not accepting employers with residence-based businesses, or sole proprietorships with no other employees.

“Our interns were both bright, articulate, respectful and eager to learn. They brought a vitality to our office, and their desire to be helpful was sincere and appreciated.” – Pam Sheridan, Volunteer Coordinator at Nashville Conflict Resolution Center

How You Can Get Involved

  • Hire: Partner with the initiative to hire young people directly by posting entry level positions onto the Opportunity NOW Portal.
  • Host: Work with Opportunity NOW to provide a worksite for high school interns during a five-week summer program.
    • Opportunity NOW can serve as the employer of record.
    • Community based organizations are also eligible to apply to host 14/15-year-olds in project based work experiences through our Experience Work program.
  • Donate: Donate towards the per participant cost of serving a young person in the program. This is a great option for employers who are unable to host interns but are looking to sponsor a youth to intern in the same industry.
