Bill BL2020-281

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements for property located north of Burkitt Place Drive and east of Nolensville Pike in Williamson County, also known as Burkitt Commons Phase 2 (MWS Project No. 19-SL-241 and Proposal No. 2020M-024ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 959 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), seven sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located north of Burkitt Place Drive and east of Nolensville Pike in Williamson County, also known as Burkitt Commons Phase 2, is needed to construct project number 19-SL-241; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2020M 024ES-001 on March 12, 2020, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 959 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), seven sanitary manholes and easements, for property located north of Burkitt Place Drive and east of Nolensville Pike in Williamson County, also known as Burkitt Commons Phase 2, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
