Bill BL2019-1791

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main, manholes, fire hydrant assembly and easements and to accept new public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes, fire hydrant assemblies, and easements, for four properties located on Belmont Park Terrace, Harding Place, and Granny White Pike (MWS Project Nos. 19-SL-05 and 19-WL-03 and Proposal No. 2019M-054ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 957 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main, two sanitary sewer manholes, one fire hydrant assembly and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 731 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), six sanitary sewer manholes, three fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for four properties located on Belmont Park Terrace, Harding Place, and Granny White Pike, are needed to construct project numbers 19-SL-05 and 19-WL-03; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2019M-054ES-001 on June 21, 2019, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes, fire hydrant assemblies and easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 957 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main, two sanitary sewer manholes, one fire hydrant assembly and easements, and to accept approximately 731 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), six sanitary sewer manholes, three fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for four properties located on Belmont Park Terrace, Harding Place, and Granny White Pike, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
