Bill BL2020-252

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new water and sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements for properties located at 522, 524, and 526 Southgate Avenue, also known as Southgate Station Phase 2 (MWS Project Nos. 17-WL-98 and 17-SL-117 and Proposal No. 2020M-022ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 155 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 302 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at 522, 524, and 526 Southgate Avenue, also known as Southgate Station Phase 2, is needed to construct project numbers 17-WL-98 and 17 SL-117; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2020M 022ES-001 on March 6, 2020, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 155 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 302 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at 522, 524, and 526 Southgate Avenue, also known as Southgate Station Phase 2, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
