An ordinance amending Section 13.08.015 of the Metropolitan Code pertaining to the report from the Planning Commission and the Emergency Communications District Board for proposed changes to street names.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NAHSVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Section 13.08.015 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by deleting subsection D. in its entirety and substituting with the following new subsection D.:
D. After consideration of the petition, the planning commission and emergency communications district board will provide the council with a recommendation approving or disapproving the proposed change, and shall also forward all property owners' responses to the council for its consideration. No action shall be taken by the council on second reading until the report from the planning commission and emergency communications district board has been submitted to the council or 60 days has passed from the date the ordinance was forwarded by the metropolitan clerk to the planning commission and the emergency communications district board.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
