An ordinance declaring surplus and approving the disposition of a parcel of real property known as 3125 Ironwood Drive (Map/Parcel No. 09610025200) (Proposal No. 2019M-006-PR-001).
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County owns a certain parcel of property located at 3125 Ironwood Drive (Map/Parcel No. 09610025200); and,
WHEREAS, Metropolitan Nashville Board of Public Education has declared this certain parcel of property and improvements surplus and no longer needed for their purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government has determined that this certain parcel of real property is no longer needed for any governmental purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Council declares the following parcel of land and improvements, owned in fee simple by the Metropolitan Government, and described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein, to be surplus.

Section 2. The Director of Public Property Administration or his designee is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of the Property in accordance with the Standard Rules and Regulations for the disposition of surplus property.
Section 3. The proceeds from the sale of the Property shall be credited to the unappropriated school fund of the Metropolitan Government.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
