Bill BL2018-1111 (as amended)

An ordinance to amend Chapter 2.222 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws regarding the Board of Ethical Conduct and the Standards of Conduct.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Section 2.222.040.C.1.(a) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by adding the phrase “or an executive order which regulates the standards of conduct for Metro employees” after the phrase “standards of conduct”.

Section 2. That Section 2.222.040.C.1.(b).iv of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is amended by adding the phrase “or executive order” after the phrase “standards of conduct”.

Section 3. That Section 2.222.040.C.1.(e) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is amended by adding the phrase “or executive order” after the phrase “standards of conduct” wherever that phrase appears.

Section 4. That Section 2.222.040.C.3 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is amended by adding the phrase “or executive order” after the phrase “standards of conduct”.

Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
