An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing easement rights and remove abandoned pipe on properties located at 330 Cartwright Street and East Cedar Street (unnumbered) (MWS Project Nos. 66-SG-65 and 98-SL-132 and Proposal No. 2018M-038ES-001).
WHEREAS, sewer line and easement rights were previously abandoned by Council Bill BL2002-1124, for property located at East Cedar Street (unnumbered); and,
WHEREAS, the existing 14 inch sewer pipe and easements for property located at 330 Cartwright Street are no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, the abandonment had been requested by Unique Omega LLC, owner; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2018M 038ES-001 on April 19, 2018, for the abandonment of said easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon existing easements rights and to remove abandoned 14 inch pipe on properties located at 330 Cartwright Street and East Cedar Street (unnumbered), as shown below and on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
