Bill BL2019-1552

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing sanitary sewer main, a sanitary sewer manhole and easement and to accept new sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes, an adjustment to an existing sanitary sewer manhole and easements for property located at 3711 Dickerson Pike (MWS Project No. 18-SL-258 and Proposal No. 2019M-015ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 116 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main, a sanitary sewer manhole and easement, and the acceptance of approximately 82 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two sanitary sewer manholes, an adjustment to an existing sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 3711 Dickerson Pike, are needed to construct project number 18-SL-258; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2019M 015ES-001 on January 18, 2019, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 116 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main, a sanitary sewer manhole and easement, and to accept approximately 82 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two sanitary sewer manholes, an adjustment to an existing sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 3711 Dickerson Pike, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
