An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water main and to accept new public water main and fire hydrant assembly for property located at 600 Creative Way (MWS Project No. 20-WL-11 and Proposal No. 2020M-030ES-001).
WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 64 linear feet of existing eight inch public water main (DIP), and the acceptance of approximately 66 linear feet of new eight inch public water main (DIP), and one fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 600 Creative Way, are needed to construct project number 20-WL-11; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2020M 030ES-001 on March 20, 2020, for the abandonment and acceptance of said public water mains and fire hydrant assembly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 64 linear feet of existing eight inch public water main (DIP), and to accept approximately 66 linear feet of new eight inch public water main (DIP), and one fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 600 Creative Way, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
