Resolution RS2019-43

A resolution accepting a grant from Keep Tennessee Beautiful to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metro Public Works Department, to implement a Cigarette Litter Prevention and Recycling campaign at Riverfront Park.

Resolution RS2019-42

A resolution approving a grant agreement of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) grant between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Department/Homelessness Commission, to contribute to the national effort to end homelessness.

Resolution RS2019-41

A Resolution authorizing the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency to negotiate and enter into a PILOT Agreement and accept payments in lieu of ad valorem taxes with respect to a multi-family housing project located at 1501 Hillside Avenue, known as Hillside Flats.

Resolution RS2019-40

Resolutions RS2019-30

A resolution urging the Metropolitan Department of Law to compromise and settle the claim of Shaundelle Brooks, as next of kin of Akilah DaSilva, against the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County; requesting that the Metro Legal Department resolve this action expediently; and requesting that the Emergency Communications Center adopt a policy for 911 call takers regarding GPS coordinates.

Resolution RS2019-29

A resolution approving an application for a Homeland Security Grant from the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Office of Emergency Management.

Resolution RS2019-28

A resolution approving a contract between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and ZOLL Medical Corporation to provide cardiac monitors, automated external defibrillators, accessories, and the performance of preventative maintenance and repairs for the Nashville Fire Department. 

Resolution RS2019-27

Resolution RS2019-26

A resolution approving an application for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant from the United States Department of Justice to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, for specialized training and equipment to ensure personnel maintain needed certifications for criminal investigation and crime reduction initiatives.

Resolution RS2019-25

A resolution approving a contract between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and Promega, for the procurement of Promega consumables to be used for testing in the Forensic Biology Unit of the MNPD Crime Lab.

Resolution RS2019-24

A resolution approving an intergovernmental agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and the City of Cookeville, by and through the Cookeville Police Department, for the distribution of state grant funds to assist with investigations of internet crimes against children.

Resolution RS2019-22

Resolution RS2019-20

A resolution approving an intergovernmental agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and Williamson County, by and through the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, for the distribution of state grant funds to assist with investigations of internet crimes against children.

Resolution RS2019-19

A resolution authorizing the Metropolitan Department of Law to compromise and settle the personal injury claim of Don Williamson against the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in the amount of $70,000.00, and that said amount be paid out of the Self-Insured Liability Fund.

Resolution RS2019-18

A resolution authorizing the Metropolitan Department of Law to compromise and settle the personal injury claim of Evelyn Carey against the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in the amount of $90,000.00, and that said amount be paid out of the Self-Insured Liability Fund.

A resolution approving agreements between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Harpeth Valley Utility District for water and sewer lines related to utility services at Nashville Fire Station No. 37 in Bellevue (Proposal No. 2019M-030AG-001).

Resolution RS2019-15

A resolution amending Ordinance No. BL2019-1553 to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing sanitary sewer main and easements and to accept one sanitary sewer manhole and easement, for two properties located at 2995 Sidco Drive and 4030 Armory Oaks Drive (MWS Project No. 18-SL-154 and Proposal No. 2019M-016ES-002).

Resolution RS2019-14

A resolution granting the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services authority to enter into Memorandum of Understandings with Metro departments for ongoing maintenance of stormwater control measures on Metro property and exempting Metro departments from the requirement of recording Long Term Maintenance Agreements.

A resolution approving a data sharing agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and the Tennessee Department of Health, to share opioid drug overdose data for program planning and public health intervention.

Resolution RS2019-9

A resolution approving a contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Saint Thomas Health to provide information about women, infants, and children’s (WIC) program benefits to potentially eligible individuals who receive inpatient or outpatient prenatal or postpartum services.

Resolution RS2019-8

A resolution accepting a grant from the Friends of Metro Animal Care & Control to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to help support the Safety Net Program, Spay/Neuter Program, and Emergency Medical Fund.

Resolution RS2019-7

A resolution approving amendment one to a grant from the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Services to reduce risks associated with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, or heart disease and stroke.

Resolution RS2019-6

A resolution approving amendment one to a subrecipient grant agreement by and between the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Social Services Homeless Impact Division, to cover the cost of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) eligible planning activities.  

Resolution RS2019-5

A resolution accepting a grant from the Nashville Public Library Foundation to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Public Library, to support youth internships through the Opportunity Now initiative.

Resolution RS2019-4

A resolution accepting an in-kind grant from Martin S. Brown to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, for the design and illustration of signage, tree identification fabrication, replacement panels, and installation on the Betty Brown Tree Trail.
