Resolution RS2019-1786

A resolution appropriating to certain accounts for the benefit of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA); the Historical Commission; the Public Library; the Nashville Fire Department; and Nashville Education, Community and Arts Television (NECAT) Ten Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($10,500,000).

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council desires to appropriate to certain accounts for the benefit of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA); the Historical Commission; the Public Library; the Nashville Fire Department; and Nashville Education, Community and Arts Television (NECAT) Ten Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($10,500,000) from the undesignated fund balance of the General Fund of the General Services District.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1: That the following amounts from the Undesignated Fund Balance of the General Fund of the General Services District is hereby appropriated:
