Resolution RS2020-243

A resolution approving amendment two to a subrecipient grant agreement by and between the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Social Services Homeless Impact Division, to cover the cost of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) eligible planning activities.  

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Social Services Homeless Impact Division, previously entered into a subrecipient grant agreement with MDHA to cover the cost of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) eligible planning activities approved by RS2018-1522 and later amended by RS2019-6; and,

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend that grant agreement to extend the term of the subrecipient grant agreement to September 30, 2020, a copy of which amendment two is attached hereto; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment two to the subrecipient grant be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That amendment two to the subrecipient grant agreement by and between the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA), and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Social Services Homeless Impact Division, to cover the cost of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) eligible planning activities, a copy of which amendment two is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
