Resolution RS2018-1226

A resolution appropriating the amount of $500,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the purchase of equipment for the Public Works Department of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $500,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Metro Nashville Public Works Department for equipment.

Section 2. As required by Ordinance No. 086-1534, information justifying the appropriation is set forth in the "General Fund Reserve Fund (4% Fund) Information Sheets" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 3. Where applicable, the Purchasing Agent shall procure the equipment specified in the attachment in accordance with the established purchasing procedures.

Section 4. The Director of Finance may schedule the acquisition authorized herein to ensure an appropriate balance in the Fund.

Section 5. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
