Resolution RS2018-1522

A resolution approving a subrecipient grant agreement by and between the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Social Services Homeless Impact Division, to cover the cost of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) eligible planning activities.

WHEREAS, MDHA has awarded a subrecipient grant in an amount not to exceed $110,696.00 with an in-kind match of $27,674.00 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Social Services Homeless Impact Division to cover the cost of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) eligible planning activities; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that the subrecipient grant be accepted; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the subrecipient grant agreement by and between the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA), in an amount not to exceed $110,696.00, and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Social Services Homeless Impact Division, to cover the cost of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) eligible planning activities, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
