Resolution RS2019-95

A resolution approving a contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and The University of Tennessee College of Nursing to provide clinical experience opportunities for its students enrolled in graduate and undergraduate nursing programs.

WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of The University of Tennessee College of Nursing and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide clinical experience opportunities for its students enrolled in graduate and undergraduate nursing programs; and,

WHEREAS, The University of Tennessee College of Nursing and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, have entered into a contract, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to provide clinical experience opportunities for its students enrolled in graduate and undergraduate nursing programs; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this contract be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the contract between The University of Tennessee College of Nursing and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide clinical experience opportunities for its students enrolled in graduate and undergraduate nursing programs, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
