Winter Bird Hike

With Vaughn creek, beautiful hardwoods, and native fields, the Nature Center is a great place to search for winter birds - especially during an irruption year with infrequent visitors like purple Finches, pine siskins and red-breasted nuthatches spending the winter here.

For the safety of staff and visitors, program participants must answer COVID-19 exposure and health screening questions and have their temperature taken before joining in-person programs.
Programs will take place entirely outdoors and will be canceled at our discretion if weather is severe.
Masks are required for all program participants ages 2 years and older. Participants are required to provide their own masks/face coverings.
Participants will maintain social distancing of 6 feet or greater whenever possible throughout the program.
Hand sanitizer and/or hand washing stations will be made available for all participants.
