Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Old Hickory Boulevard Identified



The woman killed in Tuesday’s 11:30 p.m. head-on collision on Old Hickory Boulevard near W. Minister Drive is identified as Chloe Mariea, 24, of Nashville.

The preliminary investigation shows that Mariea was driving her 2013 BMW SUV westbound on Old Hickory Boulevard when for reasons unknown she crossed into the eastbound lanes of travel and collided head-on with the driver of a 2004 Toyota Siena minivan. The BMW caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames. Mariea died at the scene. The driver of the minivan, Raj Chhetri, 39, was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he is in stable condition. His two passengers sustained minor injuries.

There was no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene.
