Man Charged with Vehicular Homicide for Today's Car-Motorcycle Collision on Elm Hill Pike at Massman Drive



Christopher W. Dailey, 40, is jailed on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide in connection with today’s 11:20 a.m. crash on Elm Hill Pike at Massman Drive that killed motorcyclist William T. Page, 48, of Whites Creek.

The investigation shows that Dailey, of Nashville, was driving a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis inbound on Elm Hill Pike when he attempted to turn left onto Massman Drive and drove into the path of Page’s Suzuki motorcycle, which was traveling outbound on Elm Hill Pike. The motorcycle hit the passenger side of the car. Page died at the scene.

Dailey showed clues of impairment while performing standard field sobriety tasks. A blood sample was obtained from him and will be analyzed by the MNPD Crime Laboratory.

Bond for Dailey was set at $500,000.
