Detectives Working to Identify Man and Woman who Robbed East Nashville Convenience Store



East Precinct detectives are working to identify the man and woman who Tuesday morning robbed the Mapco at 4126 Gallatin Pike.

The suspects entered the store at 4:10 a.m. The woman, armed with a knife, walked behind the counter and told the clerk to open the register while the man began placing cigarettes in a bag. They fled with cash and multiple packages of cigarettes.

The woman, who appears to be in her late 20s or 30s, is approximately five feet tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She tucked her hair (dreads dyed brown) under her ball cap. She appears to have tattoos on the back of her hand and right forearm. The man has short hair and is approximately 5’11” with a thin build.
