Detectives Working to Identify Gunman who Robbed and Shot 61-Year-Old Man



Hermitage Precinct detectives are working to identify the gunman who on September 12 shot and critically injured a 61-year-old man in the 100 block of Lafayette Street during an apparent robbery.

The victim parked on Claiborne Street, telling his passengers he needed to drop off some money. He left them in the vehicle. A short time later, a woman walked up and told them that the victim had been shot. They located him with a serious gunshot wound to his hip and drove him to the hospital. He has since been treated and released.
