Public's Assistance Sought in Homicide Investigation

Homicide Unit detectives are asking for the community’s assistance in the investigation of the October 10 fatal shooting of JaJuan Clark, 36, in the 5200 block of Hickory Hollow Parkway near the Global Mall.

A motorist called police at 8 p.m. to report that she had driven up on a man severely wounded in the roadway. He appeared to have been shot. Clark was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital.

Detective Trevor VonDohlen is leading this investigation. Anyone in the area of Hickory Hollow Parkway the night of Clark’s murder (his photo is attached) or who may have information about this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.

Clark’s family has been beset by tragedy. Hours after attending her son’s funeral Monday, Clark’s mother was driving home when she was killed in a single-car crash in Clarksville, Tennessee. A second adult son was a passenger in the vehicle. He sustained serious injuries and is expected to recover.
