Convicted Felon Arrested After Heroin Investigation at Hermitage Motel

An investigation by Hermitage Precinct detectives into heroin sales at Motel Six, 701 Stewarts Ferry Pike, led to Thursday’s arrest of convicted felon Kerry Partee, 29, and the seizure of 21 grams of heroin, 19 grams of methamphetamine, 5.5 grams of MDMA, eleven pills, two handguns (one stolen), and $3,623 cash.
Detectives who had conducted earlier undercover heroin buys from Partee took him into custody in the motel parking lot. As officers approached Partee, he tossed a handgun under his Kia Optima where it was recovered along with two cell phones and 2.6 grams of cocaine.
Partee has prior convictions for felon in possession of a weapon, felony drug possession, and aggravated burglary. He is now charged with felon in possession of a gun, theft of a firearm, four counts of felony drug possession, and gun possession during the commission of a felony. He is being held in lieu of $96,000 bond.
