Man Killed in Tuesday's Two-Vehicle Collision on Bell Road Identified

The man killed in Tuesday’s 11:15 p.m. two-vehicle collision on Bell Road near Hickory Highlands Drive is identified as Roimar Guilarte, 25, of Nashville.

The preliminary investigation shows that Guilarte was driving his 2016 Infinity sedan west on Bell Road at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, crossed over into oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with the driver of an eastbound Ford Escape, Anas Abdul Hadi, 40, of Lebanon, Tennessee.

Guilarte, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. Hadi, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
