As communications are being restored throughout the city, the Metropolitan Action Commission set up two temporary numbers so that customers will have a way to reach the agency until full phone service is restored.

Beginning Monday at 8:15 a.m. customers will be able to reach the agency at the following numbers: 615-207-5337 or 615-207-5340.

Customers may also continue to contact the agency by e-mail at metro.action@nashville.gov. Requests may also be made for return calls using the e-mail.

The office will be open for its regular hours from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Metro Action is located at 800 2nd Avenue North. Applications for assistance and information about our programs are accessible on the agency’s web page (www.nashville.gov/mac.)

Metro Action is in the midst of a heightened need for assistance with services such as rent, mortgage and utility assistance.

“The agency recognizes that coming off of a holiday may mean an increase in the amount of customers who need help urgently. We want to do all that we can to minimize any interruptions or delays as we transition back to normal operation,” said Lisa McCrady, Director of Communications for Metro Action.
