Corbin Rashard Arrington Wanted for This Morning's Murder at Edmondson Pike Apartment

Corbin Rashard Arrington is now a fugitive wanted for murder.

Homicide Unit Detective Chris Dickerson this morning swore out an arrest warrant charging Arrington, 24, with the 2:40 a.m. fatal shooting of Damien Johnson, 25, in a unit of The Overton Brentwood Apartments on Edmondson Pike.

Detective Dickerson’s investigation shows that Arrington shares an apartment with Johnson’s girlfriend. Johnson was visiting his girlfriend early today when they got into an argument that began to turn physical. During this, Arrington pulled a pistol, shot Johnson, and dragged him out of the apartment. Arrington fled the area after seeing that Johnson’s girlfriend was on the telephone with 911.

The girlfriend told detectives that she did not ask Arrington to intervene.

Anyone seeing Arrington or knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
