Mayor John Cooper, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp, and the Tennessee Titans today announced a live musical performance during the March 20 mass COVID-19 vaccination event at Nissan Stadium for residents 65 and older or those eligible in Phase 1c.

A diverse lineup of four acts will perform bluegrass, country, rock, and soul music for vaccine recipients waiting in line.

The live music schedule follows:

In addition to live musical guests, vaccine recipients will be greeted by members of the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders as well as local mascots T-Rac, Gnash, Booster, and Tempo the Coyote.

“After the most difficult year in our history, vaccines are helping us turn the corner on the pandemic,” said Mayor Cooper. “Nashville is famous for having world-class live music nearly everywhere you turn. I’m grateful to these artists and all our partners for adding a touch of Music City to our March 20 vaccination event. The line to get immunized at Nissan Stadium will be the best line that anyone has waited in.”

Vaccine recipients will remain in their cars and will not be permitted to exit their vehicles. All 10,000 vaccine appointments on March 20 were claimed after two hours of registration. The drive-thru event will be held from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Lots A through D at Nissan Stadium using the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
