Man Killed During Prostitution-Related Argument at Motel; Detectives Pursuing Active Leads


Homicide Unit detectives continue to pursue active leads in this morning’s fatal shooting of Twuan West, 27, who, the investigation shows, was killed while engaged in a prostitution-related argument with another man and a woman outside the Super 8 Motel, 821 Murfreesboro Pike.

Officers responded to the motel at 5:13 a.m. West, of Clarksville, died at the scene.

The black man and white woman with whom West argued fled the motel in an SUV. They are believed to be locals, as a witness said he had seen them before.
